Many people are speaking out about whether or not the New York City Marathon should be run this coming weekend. Mayor Michael Bloomberg
canceled the home opener for the Nets-Knicks at the Barclays Center last night
but says the marathon must be run.
Many runners who had planned on running the marathon either
cannot get here to run it or simply are refusing to because they don’t agree
with the Mayors decision. Many also believe the conditions aren't safe or
sanitary.
