As we find ourselves in the holiday season, one item that is probably starting to fly off the shelves is wine. A classy and elegant touch to any holiday party, wine is often purchased by the host, a guest, or both, and is a beverage that many couldn't imagine the holidays without. But, with wine comes those pesky wine corks that people usually don't know what to do with. Can they be thrown out? Should they be recycled? This holiday season, we'll make the answer to that question easy for you; see below for three ways that you can reuse your wine corks:

1. Stamps: Need a craft to keep the kids busy over their holiday break? Have them make their own stamps using your old corks! Start by having them draw their stamp design on the bottom of the cork, then help them cut away the material around the design so that it is raised and ready to be dunked in ink!

2. Key chain: If you have young children that want to make their own holiday gifts this year, work with them to create key chains out of your corks! For this DIY craft, all you must do is attach a screw onto a key chain ring and then insert the screw into the cork. This homemade gift is sure to be a big hit!

3. Magnets: If you like to hang all of your holiday cards on the fridge, use your wine corks to make magnets to hold them up! It's easy - all you must do is cut your cork in half and glue a magnet on the back!
