Today, November 15th is National Recycling Day, officially known as America Recycles Day!
Since 1997, communities across the country have joined together on November 15th to celebrate America Recycles Day! America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to the promotion of recycling in the US.
“I Recycle” is again the theme of America Recycles Day. Millions of Americans had pledged to increase their recycling habits at home and at work over the 14 year initiative dedicated to encouraging people to recycle more at work, at home and on the go.

Not everyone can take on the commitment required to organize and host an America Recycles Day event on their own!
