For over 40 years, WasteExpo has been North America’s
largest solid waste and recycling trade-show serving both private and public
sectors. This year, attendees and exhibitors are invading the Las Vegas
Convention Center from April 30th through May 3rd.
As of yesterday, educational programs were available for attendees to sign up for and learn more about the waste business, as well as help understand some of the
technological advances that are being made.
Today started with an awards breakfast as people
gathered to recognize the leaders in the industry for their commitments and
contributions, and to induct the newest members into the 2012 Hall of Fame.
Tomorrow afternoon is the big Environmental Research and Educations Foundation’s 18th Annual Live Equipment Auction from
4-6 p.m. A professional auctioneer will auction off all donated equipment and
services!
With over 550 exhibiting companies, 40 conference sessions
and workshops, and over 11,000 total participants, no other show comes close to
the size and scope of WasteExpo. Whether you come from the public sector, a
