Eleven years ago today, our nation was changed forever.
Today marks the 11th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade
Center in New York City, Pentagon in Washington D.C. and the crash of the
United 93 in Pennsylvania.
As we look back today and reflect on that tragic day, we
still feel a tremendous amount of sorrow and grief when we think about all of
the innocent lives taken that morning. Today, many individuals have gathered at
the site where the Twin Towers once stood, to honor all of those people whose
lives were affected by this tragedy.
9/11/01 is a day in our nation’s history that will never be
forgotten. Take a moment of silence today to honor all who were lost.
