paper and cardboard with sanitation? Here is a guide, courtesy of nyc.gov, of
the proper items to recycle!
Include:
- Newspapers, catalogs, magazines
- White and colored paper (lined, copier, computer, staples OK)
- Mail and envelopes
- Paper bags
- Wrapping paper
- Soft-cover books, telephone books
- Cardboard egg cartons and trays
- Smooth cardboard
- Corrugated cardboard boxes
Place all paper recyclables together in clear bags
or in any bin labeled with green recycling decals!
Do not include:
- Hardcover books
- Napkins, paper towels, or tissues
- Solid paper cups or plates
- Paper soiled with liquid or food
- Paper with a lot of tape and glue
- Plastic or wax coated paper
- Photo paper
